Film Transfers
Is your family trapped in round tin cans or little yellow boxes? Transfer them to DVD before the
film cracks and fades and they can't be saved!
We take your Super 8 or 8mm reel-to-reel home movies and transfer them to DVD or CD. Our
professional equipment has a low heat light to protect your fragile film and eliminate the bright
light hot-spot. It transfers your movies frame-by-frame, eliminating the 'flicker' you see on
movie projectors. The full-frame transfer is downloaded to a computer and transferred to DVD
or CD. The films can be saved to a CD for your editing at home, or put onto a DVD for easy
viewing on your PC or TV.
DVDs include a top menu screen, just like the movies you rent! The top menu will have a title
specifying the date range of the videos, as well as scene-selection buttons that allow you to skip to
your 5th birthday party without fast-forwarding through the entire DVD. All video is lightened,
darkened, and/or color corrected to provide the best possible viewing. All CDs and DVDs are
labelled with a full-color, print-on or stick-on label. Laser-engraved labels are available at an
extra charge.
Background music is an appropriate addition if there is no audio on your tapes. We can supply
generic background music, or use customer-supplied CDs or audio files. In order to ensure
compliance with copyright laws, you must own the music being placed on the CD or DVD. One or
more songs can be placed on the DVD. If you'd like musical changes to coincide with the changes in
your video, we can do it! Music editing is time-intensive and is charged at an hourly rate.
