Photos
All photos must be supplied on a CD or via email.  Please label the CD clearly with your name, phone
number, and the name of the project, i.e., "Caroline's Birthday".  If you choose to email the photos,
please put your name, phone number, and the name of the project in the body of your email.  Either
name the photos in order of how you'd like them in the video (Caroline1, Caroline2, Caroline3, etc.) or
supply a Word document with a list of the photo names in the order you would like them in the video.
Any special grouping instructions, such as 2 photos you'd like on the same screen, should be included as
well.

If you choose to have us scan your photos, please indicate in what order you'd like the photos.  You can
place each grouping of photos in a separate envelope or plastic storage bag and marking the container
with the information (4 pictures of early childhood part 1, 6 pictures of teen years part 2, 8 pictures
with babies part 3, etc.).  Do NOT write on the backs of the pictures with marker as the ink can seep
through the picture or rub off on another picture!  You can sometimes mark on the back of a photo
with a pencil, but you must do it lightly as the pencil tip will dent the photo and can show on the
scanned image.  You can also use a small sticky note on the back of each photo, indicating a description
of the photo and where it should go in the video.  These can also be grouped in envelopes or plastic bags.

Please DO NOT glue or tape the photos to sheets of paper, and DO NOT place sticky notes on the
fronts of the pictures.

Indicate which picture, if any, you would like on the face of the CD or DVD, and which picture you
would like to be on the title screen, if applicable.

Because we abide by copyright laws, copyrighted photos (those taken by professional photographers)
cannot be used without written permission from the photographer.

Captions
For all photo captions (see your package for details), please submit a Word document listing the
caption and the name of the photo for which it applies.

For title screens (chapter dividers), please supply a Word Document listing the text you would like on
the title screen and which photos should be included in that section of the video.  Try to keep the
captions short, as they will be easier to read.

Music
Because we abide by copyright laws, any music you supply to be used on the video must be owned by you
and supplied to us on the original CD.   This is critical so as to avoid copyright infringement issues.
Any music added to a DVD will be edited to match the length of the video or segments of the video.
 If
there is a certain part of the song that you do not want cut, please let us know ahead of
time!
If you don't wish to supply specific songs, we have copyright-free music that we can add,
instead.

Special Requests
Any other special requests, such as requested color schemes, added video clips, etc., can be discussed
with a consultant.  Make a list of questions and requests to discuss!  We'll try to accommodate them!

Changes
Once the CD or DVD image is created, any changes will result in extra charges.  Changes to music
timing can be especially complicated.  Errors made by us are fixed at no charge to you.

Payment
Payment for video and tape transfer services, photo scanning, and for Remembrance, Memorial, and
Sports DVDs is required at the time the order is placed.  Hourly services require a down-payment
equaling one hour of service.  The balance is due on delivery.  We accept cash, checks, and money
orders made out to Digital RetroSpectives.
