Slide Transfers
Prior to the advent of digital photography, serious photographers saved their work in the form of
slides. Boxes and boxes of these slides sit in closets and cabinets all over the world, the memories
they document hidden from view! Digital RetroSpectives can scan those slides and save them on a
DVD or turn them into a slide show backed by music. The images can be printed and/or viewed on
your PC or television, brought alive by today's technology! All of those memories are out there -
your grandparents, your little friends from down the block, your college buddies! See them again
before they fade away and are gone forever!
Our slide scanning equipment offers up to 4000 dpi resolution and uses an LED light to provide
accurate color. Deluxe scanning also provides Digital ICE software to restore, correct, and clean
your slides for the best possible scan.
Two options are available for your final product. A CD provides a disk with each slide as a JPG
image you can download, view on your PC, or use to print copies. This CD is automatically provided
with the price of the scans. Optionally, we can also create a DVD slide show with background
music. A main title is provided, with additional title screens throughout as an option. Title
screens can used to identify people, dates, places and events. They can be inserted into your DVD
using information you provide us! They provide a great way to identify when and where your slides
were taken.
